I'm a mum of three and the owner and maker behind Lia Shahar Bowtique!

Right after having my daughter, I was being the typical mum and was constantly on the lookout for beautiful hair accessories for my little girl. Unfortunately, I failed miserably and resorted to making her my own. I started off slowly and made a few pieces here and there but I thoroughly enjoyed it and found myself working into the wee hours of the night.

Every piece you see here is handmade by me and I could spend well over an hour on each design until I feel it has been perfected. All my headbands and bows are nothing but a labor of love and I'll continuously strive to provide mums with a vast and diverse choice to add to their collection!

The idea for Lia Shahar sparked somewhere around the last few months of 2015 and I carefully planned every little meticulous detail and taught myself the craft for well over an year before launching my products.

Finally, in December of 2016, when I felt confident enough in my work and ready to put it up for sale, I started my little shop on Instagram. It was all I had hoped for and more. The immediate positive response from all my followers was exhilarating and I've never looked back since.
